NSS SMVDU Katra volunteers organized a wall painting event around the University campus. The event was organized for two days and more than 30 volunteers worked enthusiastically for the beautification of the area. The wall painting work was carried out on a long wall outside main gate of the University. Themes based paintings were drawn by NSS volunteers. A forest scene was created which involved paintings of greenery, elephant, deer, monkey, peacock etc. Various dance forms of India were also drawn. Yoga postures were also painted during the event. Messages related to voting and cleanliness were also drawn. NSS logo was also painted on the wall. NSS student coordinators Sadhvi Sharma and Abhishek Sharma coordinated the whole event for two days. The event was funded by Regional Directorate of NSS Delhi. NSS coordinator, Dr. Rajiv Kumar also participated in the said event. Vice chancellor, Prof. Pragati Kumar appreciated the efforts of NSS volunteers for organizing the event.
