NSS unit of SMVDU Katra celebrated Gandhi Jayanti as International Non-Violence day. NSS volunteers formed a Human chain to support Non-Violence in their life. The event started with the welcome address by NSS coordinator Dr. Rajiv Kumar. Vice chancellor Prof. Pragati Kumar were the chief guest and Dean Students Welfare Dr. R. K. Mishra were the guest of honor for the event. They shared their thoughts on the life of our great leaders Rashtrapita Mahatma Gandhi and Lal Bahadur Shastri ji. A small documentory on Khadi was also played on the occasion. NSS volunteers Ojashvi, Suhani and Akansha recited poems on the said occasion. NSS volunteers Parvallika and Parakh Rajput anchored the whole event. More than 100 students actively participated in the event. Refreshments were also served at the end of the event.
